To commission an oil portrait is the ultimate recognition you can offer to any special person. Whether presenting as a gift or placing the painting as a permanent remembrance in a board room or wall of honor, a fine art oil portrait will preserve and honor a person more than any gesture imaginable.

Rick Bayers has successfully painted several corporate executives, family, and celebrity members both nationally and in the St. Louis region. Rick provides full service custom oil portraits and works with his clients from the beginning stages of the planning, including photo sessions, through all the details of delivering a museum quality painting. With years of experience and traditional painting style, Rick will insure your commissioned painting will capture the true spirit and likeness of your subject for years of viewing enjoyment.

Procedure
A photo session of less than one hour will be held at the client’s convenience. Rick Bayers will then review the photographs with the client and suggest a composition and size. A due date will be set for the portrait.

Payment
A 50% deposit is required when the portrait recommendation is approved by the client. The balance is due upon completion and acceptance.

Guarantee
The portrait is guaranteed to represent the likeness in the photographs chosen; therefore, the pictures are of utmost importance. If there are no satisfactory pictures obtained from the photography session, the client may request an additional session at no additional charge. The client may also provide pictures to the artist for the portrait.

Travel
Out of State travel expenses from St. Louis will be paid by the client.

2019 Hayloft Exhibit at the 4th Friday Art Walk, Ste Genevieve

Rick was included in the 2019 Kick-off of the 4th Friday Art Walk in Ste Genevieve, MO. He and other local artists, including James Wooldridge and Mary Peura showed their work at the Hayloft Gallery. There was a fun after-party event that started at 9:00 which included James Wooldridge's band and catered food/refreshments!
